In honor and respect of the mind-blowing origins of M-theory, I offer this rap as a "shoutout" to Dr. Michio Kaku - the father and primary caregiver of this grand idea. This rap, to the classic and instantly recognizable tune of the theme song (the television cut) from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, describes, in staggering detail, the epiphany leading to M-theory, as well as the man and the mind behind it.

The M-Theory Rap

So, one fine day in the science world
The theory of M was unfurled
Now let me introduce you
Just take it from me
Michio Kaku's the physicist with the sick M-theory

Japanese-American, Harvard grad
White hair down to his shoulders he don't look half bad
Theory of everything was his main goal
With quantum theory, membranes, why not black holes?
Then a few simple things
Became startlingly clear
He brought his colleagues together, gave 'em a hear
Scratched a few equations down and then he declared:
"Now I've got something called membrane theory so don't you be scared"

"Space and time are infinite, this you can see
Physics laws aren't always constant, so says quantum theory
The facts come together, it only makes sense
Parallel universes exist - that's intense!"

He threw down his pen with a smile on his face
And all his colleagues declared "Kaku you're a genius!"
It was published in books
On TV he appeared
To share the knowledge of the theory he reared
